Frequently Asked ?'s
How can I see your current inventory?
All of our pieces are handpicked vintage finds, and most are truly one of a kind. Once something sells, it’s usually gone for good (unless we happen to find another one someday!).
The best way to see what’s currently available is by visiting our online catalogue or following us on Instagram @floralhausvintage, where we share new arrivals as they come in.
Can I see items in person?
Because we are a home-based business, we do not have a retail showroom and aren’t able to allow general walk-ins at our home. This helps us stay within local zoning guidelines.
That said, we’re always happy to answer questions, provide additional photos, measurements, or details to help you feel confident about your purchase. If you are seriously interested in purchasing, we do offer showings (see below).
What is a showing?
Since we don’t have a traditional showroom, we offer scheduled showings for customers who are seriously interested in purchasing. If you're still looking around, we understand! We can answer any questions you have through text or email.
If you’re interested in scheduling a showing to purchase, feel free to contact us for more details.
What payment methods do you accept?
Items purchased directly through our website can be paid for using any major credit card.
Items purchased through Instagram or Facebook Marketplace are paid through Venmo. If you choose to use Venmo Purchase Protection, that fee must be covered by the buyer.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We offer curbside or ground-floor delivery for many items.
Delivery pricing varies depending on location, so just let us know your city or ZIP code at the time of purchase and we’ll provide a quote.
If your delivery location includes stairs, uneven terrain, or anything that may require extra assistance, please let us know when requesting a delivery quote. This helps us provide accurate pricing and schedule enough time to complete your delivery safely.
When can I pick up my item?
Pickup scheduling is flexible. After your purchase, we’ll reach out to coordinate a pickup time that works for you.
We ask that items be picked up within 7 days of purchase, unless other arrangements are made. We bring in new inventory multiple times each week and space fills up quickly.
Should I bring help to pick up my item?
Pickup is typically contactless, and your item will be placed on the porch or driveway at the scheduled pickup time.
If the item is large or heavy, we recommend bringing someone with you to help load it. If you need loading assistance, just let us know at the time of purchase so we can plan accordingly.
Can you hold my item after purchase?
Purchased items should be picked up within 7 days.
If an item needs to stay longer than that, a $10 per day, per item storage fee will apply until pickup. We appreciate your understanding as we work with limited storage space.
Can you hold an item while I decide?
Because most of our items are one-of-a-kind, we’re not able to place holds. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and payment is required to claim an item. All sales are final.
Can I cancel or return an item?
All sales are final.
Once an item is purchased, it’s marked as sold and removed from availability. We do our best to photograph each piece thoroughly and note any visible imperfections so you know exactly what you’re getting.
If you have questions before purchasing, we’re always happy to help!
What happens if I don’t pick up my item?
If an item is not picked up and you decide not to take it, it may be resold.
In that case, 10% of the original purchase price plus any storage fees ($10/day) will be deducted from the refund as a restocking fee. If the fees exceed the purchase price, no refund will be issued.
Is everything vintage?
We source primarily vintage furniture and décor, which is what we love most.
Occasionally, you may see a modern piece that we felt fit our style. Each listing will clearly be labeled Vintage, Antique, or Modern.
What condition are your items in?
Most of our pieces are 20–99 years old, which means they’ve lived a life before arriving here. Small signs of age and character are part of what make vintage pieces special.
We always disclose any significant wear and include detailed photos so you can see the condition clearly.
Do you clean or restore your items?
Yes. Every item is cleaned and prepared before entering our home for photography.
Most pieces receive light restoration such as deep cleaning, polishing, minor repairs, or small touch-ups. We focus on preserving the character of vintage furniture while keeping pieces functional and reasonably priced. Because of this, you may still see normal signs of age and wear.
