How do I see your current inventory?
All of our items are handpicked & unique one of a kind finds. This means when something sells, its gone forever. Well, unless we find another one down the road. Visit our shop or view our Instagram (@floralhausvintage) to see new items as they become available.
Can I come see your items in person?
We do not have a showroom & are not able to let people into our home or storage area. We must abide by the rules & restrictions given by Saratoga Springs city to operate our home based business. We are not zoned retail, so open doors with unlimited in & out visitors are simply not allowed.
However, we are happy to answer any questions you might have about any item to help make your decision.
What is a showing? How much does it cost?
We do not have a showroom or retail space where everything is laid out pretty for walk throughs or viewing. Therefore, we offer scheduled showings. If you must see an item prior to full purchase, a $50 nonrefundable showing fee is required. This fee will go towards the cost of your item should you decide to purchase. What payment method do you accept?
You can purchase any items directly from our website here using any major credit card. Purchases made via Instagram or on Facebook Marketplace must be paid for via Venmo. Venmo Protect services must be paid for by the buyer, if applicable.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We are happy to say that we offer curbside or ground floor delivery services. At the time of purchase, please provide us with your location & a quote for delivery will be given.
When can I pick up my item?
Our schedule is very flexible for pickup. Once a purchase is made, you will be contacted to coordinate the best time for your schedule.
We require pickup within 7 days from the date of purchase unless other arrangements are made. We bring in new items multiple times a week & are unable to hold for extended periods of time.
Should I bring help to pickup & load my item?
We offer contactless pickup. Your item will be on our porch/driveway at the arranged pickup time. If you need assistance moving your item, please bring someone to help you.
If you need assistance moving & loading your item, please let us know at the time of purchase so that someone can be there to assist you.
I wont be able to pick up my item for a while. Can you hold it?
All purchased items must be picked up within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase.
If your item is not picked up within 7 calendar days, a $10 per day, per item storage fee will incur & must b paid prior to the release of your item/s.
Can you hold an item while I decide if I want to purchase?
All items are first come first serve. We cannot hold an item for any reason & lose a potential sale.
To claim an item, payment is required.
Can I cancel or return my items?
All sales are final.
Once you have paid for your item, it will have been marked as sold & it’s yours. We will have lost the opportunity to sell it to other interested buyers. We do not accept returns for any reason. All items are photographed & any imperfections [if any] will be noted & priced accordingly.
I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
If you walk away from your item (you do not show to pick it up or do not take it home with you), the item will be resold & 10% of the original listed price plus $10 per day, per item storage holding fee from the date of purchase will be deducted from your refund as a restocking fee. If the deductions total more than the cost of the item, no refund will be issued.
Is every item vintage?
We source almost exclusively vintage items. They have such a beautiful history & bring more joy than modern mass produced items (in our opinion).
However, you will occasionally see a modern item available in our shop. Each item will be titled “vintage”, “antique” or “modern”, so we are all on the same page.
What is the condition of your items?
Because 99% of our items are vintage, they have been pre-loved for 20-99 years, & thus, will show signs of wear. It is rare to have a vintage piece that does not show any form of wear from time & age. We will always disclose any significant imperfections & images will be added to the listing.
Do you clean all of your items?
We bring each item into our family home to be photographed. So, everything is cleaned & restored to our high standards before we bring them inside. This is to keep our family safe & provide all of our clients amazing items that are ready to be used & enjoyed. We would never expect someone to purchase an item that we wouldn’t feel comfortable having in our own home.
